Ariane is the director of children's ministry at Celebration. She is married to Dan and they have 4 kids.

What is your heart for your ministry?

"I have always loved kids of all ages. By the end of highshool, I felt called by God to help and support children and youth, either in education or through life’s tough situations. I grew up in a non-Christian home and God reached my parents and changed their hearts when I was 10 through a Christian friend of mine and her family. I became a Christian at age 15 when I realized that my parents’ conversion and my family still being in one piece was nothing short of a miracle. I am blessed to now have a role where I can help kids grow in their faith and learn what I wish I’d been taught at their age. I strive to help kids build a strong relationship with Jesus as individuals and help them and their parents centre their family life around Jesus. My hope is they will be able to rely on the foundations they learn in Kids Church to live like Jesus in all the different facets of their world. As they grow and face various hurdles, I hope to be a support outside the home who can help point them back towards Jesus and how much He loves them. I love to see kids learn about Jesus and His love for us, ask tough questions that lead to seeking God’s truths, and be a light in their environment."
